Detailed info and Magic
[edit]Added information to the Final Fantasies that had the Job Class appear, as well as added White magic. LuvLuv_G2000 03:16, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
Moved article back.
[edit]White Mage was a double redirect, because the page was moved twice, causing incoming links to not work. There's absolutely no need for parentheses- those are only needed when there are two or more articles that want the exact same article. To my knowledge, no other article is entitled White Mage, and even if there was, we could just drop a hatnote on top ("for blah, see this"). SnowFire 02:19, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
(SF: LuvLuv_G2000 deleted my comment, I restored it.)
The heck?! Okay, a bit of Wikipedia courtesy notice. You don't edit or delete other people's comments on the talk page unless it's utterly blatant trolling. You RESPOND instead, and explain why you're doing things, and debate. Anyway. You made a screwed up move that was making links to "White Mage" or people typing that in fail and didn't bother to correct the double redirect, as you are warned to every time you move a page. Now, I don't know, maybe this should be at WM (character class), I'm not an expert- I was just fixing a double redirect problem, and WP style is NOT to use parens unless there's a good reason. But whatever. To just unilaterally move it again bespeaks bad faith. SnowFire 03:07, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
(SF: And once again, LuvLuv deletes the comments!)
Do not do this again. Look at any other talk page on Wikipedia; you'll see all the comments stretching back. You don't get to remove inconvenient comments that disagree with you, and by doing so, you're basically not even attempting to debate. You say "Like I said before, Disambiguation reasons" in your edit summary; so, uh, what other sense of White Mage are you distinguishing the Final Fantasy one from? There isn't even a WP article on "white magic" in a neopagan sense, which is the closest other thing I could imagine. SnowFire 14:02, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
- And there's the third removal. Sigh. Feel free to explain what, exactly, you're doing. Pretend I'm an idiot (maybe not hard). What, exactly, do you mean by "disambiguation reasons?" SnowFire 22:56, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
- Meaning it was to stop all unnecessary arguements and have it for Final Fantasy Only. Apparently, Deckiller has shown me that really it's not required, due to there already being a Final Fantasy Wiki. I did not know of this, and well, that's where I shall take my editing now. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
